I always know a session will be great when little one's come in with a smile on their face!
6 month olds are just such a joy to be around as they are super happy and their personalities are really starting to shine through! Here are a few session favorites of this sweet, handsome little guy.

Zoey and her mom made a trip down from Indy for her session. Zoey was in pretty great spirits considering she wasn't feeling so great and had a bit of a road trip the night before! I spent an hour with this sweet duo and had such a great time with them!
As moms we are rarely in photos with our little one's. We are always the one behind the lense photographing our littles and everyone else with them. I wish I could go back to when my boys were babies and toddlers and hop in more photos with them, or better yet, have scheduled a photo session with them periodically. I loved every single photo in this session, but here are just a few session favorites. :) I'll begin this post by saying how adorable Lyella's name is! She is the first Lyella I have ever met, or heard of and I think that's pretty neat!! There is also a fun story behind her unique name.
Lyella was created from her dad's middle name Lyell. The spelling Lyell is the Scottish way of spelling Lyle. Lyell is Ryan's late father and grandfather's middle name as well. So, after 3 generations of the men in the family, an "A" was added and Lyella was created. Pretty nifty huh? I think so! This sweet girl was full of sweetness. A sweep sleepy girl who rocked her entire session. Oh and her big brothers?? Oh...my...goodness!! They love their little sister so so much. Their love for her clearly shows in the photos below. After coming into the studio, Cale, who recently turned three, took my hand and walked me over to his sister. He was so proud to show her off! Super cute too, how he was showing her to me like I had no idea there was a baby in the car seat. ;) I absolutely love how little minds work. <3 Here are just a few session favorites! Sweet Paisley is 18 months and will soon be a big sister! I met this sweet girl for her newborn session and have photographed her quite a few times since. 18 month-2 years is a tricky age to photograph. Kiddos are so curious and don't want to sit still. Who can blame them? Makes for a fun challenge. :)
Here are a few session favorites. Leo was so incredibly sweet!! His sister's were equally as sweet and so well behaved!
Also, how adorable is his name? I just love it. His mom brought in the most adorable lion bonnet, which is shown in the photos below. Sweet Leo the lion. :) Here are a few session favorites. Oh my goodness Arya was such a sweetheart! She is such a pretty baby girl with adorable cheeks and some squishy baby rolls!! Wouldn't be awesome if we could all get excited about squishy rolls? ;)
I can't to see this sweet girl every three months for her milestone sessions! Here are a "few" session favorites ;) As most of you know by now, I moved out of my home studio and into an amazing storefront space in our little historic town of Newburgh, IN. My new space is in the mix among other awesome stores, restaurants...etc. I photograph not only newborns, but also do maternity, babies, children and families! All sessions are currently taking place in this new space, so tell all your friends!! Fun fact. I remember walking around downtown Newburgh when I was little. There was a neat place right down the sidewalk from where my studio is now that served THE best ice cream in huge waffle cones. Oh the memories.... <3 To have a space right in the "heart of Newburgh" makes my heart so very happy. This space is the family area. I also made a special space for the kiddos complete with toys and books so they can feel cozy and at home as well. While in the family waiting area, you can look out the window and enjoy an awesome view of the Ohio River! The kiddos love to watch the barges going by. That so far seems to be a favorite for the little ones. The kid space with art painted by my 4 year old, Hudson! He is so proud to have his artwork hanging on mommy's studio walls. I have come to really love this little space. I originally had not planned on shooting here, however a couple toddlers had other ideas and I ended up capturing some adorable, lifestyle photos of them at play. This space will definitely be used more often for more non posed photos of kids at play. As you sit and relax on the couch, you have a view of the "wall of babies" :) Who doesn't love a wall of sweet babies?? To make your studio experience extra special, I provide coffee, water, and of course snacks! While here, please feel free to take a few business cards with you as well. I created a cozy space for nursing moms, or any parent who wants to sit, relax and feed their little one. The cozy chair is also positioned to where you can watch me shoot during a newborn session. This space also has a changing area complete with diapers, wipes, and baby changing necessities. All the pretties! <3 About 99% of the props you see pictured in my newborn photos, I provide. Tiny outfits, textures, blankets, wraps, bonnets, etc. I only order from the best to provide you with great quality photos! Last but not least....my shooting space!
Sweet little Abe! How adorable is his name? This little guy was the first newborn to be photographed in my new studio downtown Newburgh. He helped me "break" it in a bit.
Abe's mom and I attended the same elementary school-high school. Needless to say, I was super excited when she contacted me to book a newborn session. I had a great time catching up and meeting her new sweet little guy! Here are a few session favorites!
