Not only is this tiny boy awesome and sweet, he has THE coolest name! I have a specific pose flow that I typically use for a session, but we went in reverse order and it worked perfectly!
Less than two years ago when I decided to start my business, I had no idea what was in store for me. I planned on a session or two on my books each month. I thought maybe 5 years down the road I may be to a point where I could pursue photography full time. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be able to quit my "real" job 6 months into my photography journey and pursue photography full time. I am so lucky and thank God that I am able to photograph sweet tiny babies like Krew. Cuddling with newborns, interacting with babies, toddlers and families all while capturing memories that will last forever is just so amazing and I am so grateful this is now my "real" job. I am and will be forever grateful for the families that trust me enough to hire me to capture their lifetime memories. I always try to narrow down a few favorites from each session and for newborns am never ever able to only choose a few. Here are a "few" session favotires from Krew's session

Liam and Landon were soo good to me! These tiny peanuts slept like champs! Each little guy definitlly has their own look. They are both so very sweet and I cannot wait to photograph and capture these sweet boys as they grow through their first year of life!
Also a big thanks to my friend Sarah Kram with Sak Photography. She assisted me with this session and the session most definitely wouldn't have ran smoothly without her. Having two extra hand was a HUGE help. :) Here are some of my session favorites! Ms. Ava is 1!! I met this sweet girl for her newborn photos and have captured her sweet face every 3 months since. She is one of my happiest tiny clients. (I feel like I say that often, but really, I think all of my milestone package babies are all happy!!)
Ava loved her cake. She really loved it and was the "neatest" cake eater I have ever seen ;) We had to assist a little to make her a little messy. She didn't want to miss a bite and was neatly picking up all the little pieces that fell and was trying to eat all of them. (I don't blame her on that one!) I love love love watching these little's grow into tiny toddler's. I will miss photographing this sweet girl every 3 months. Here are a few session favorites. Everyone knows I love newborns and all newborn sessions are my favorite sessions. Easton's session was extra special because his mom Allison and I go way back. Way back as in we met 17 years ago!! :-o
We both now have teenagers. Yep...that's right. Teenagers!!! We blinked, years passed and we have teenagers. So It is really refreshing to have a tiny new baby to snuggle :-D Not saying teenagers aren't refreshing, but they don't exactly like snuggling any longer. ;) Photographing a friend's baby is extra special and fun considering all the extra baby snuggling I get during the session. I got in some extra snuggles with Easton and it's about time for some more! Here are a few session favorites from this handsome tiny man's session. I really love using minimal props for any type of session. When I saw Ms. Iris come in without a gigantic bow on her head, I was secretly smiling inside. :-) (not that I hate big bows, I just prefer natural, small bows that don't overpower a baby's head)
Iris has such pretty blue eyes and such adorable expressions. It was so nice to meet this sweet girl and her mama. Here are a few of my session favorites! Sweet Hagen! Teeny tiny and oh so cute!! She did so well during her session. One of my best newborns to date :) I could have held and posed her all day long.
Hagen is baby girl # 3 for this awesome family. She has two adorable big sisters who love her so so much! They now have a real life baby doll :) Here are some of my session favorites! How adorable is this little guy? Carter was 24 days old and over 10 pounds when I photographed him! He was the "oldest" and largest newborn I have photographed to date!
He tried really hard to stay awake, so I did the session in reverse order of my usual session flow. Worked like a charm ;) Here are a few session favorites of this handsome little man! 3 month sessions have become one of my favorites. 3 month old's can't do much, so most photos of them are laying down, but I always try and pretend they are newborns. I wrap them up (if they let me) and pretty much set up similar to a newborn session, only they aren't posed an sleepy :)
See you in a few months sweet girl! Here are a few session favorites! |
