Sweet Reese was soo great for me!! She also gave out a few smiles, which is always an awesome bonus during a newborn session!!
I just love all the sweet babies I get to photograph! To see their tiny smiles during a session and while culling photos, just makes my heart melt! Here are a few favorites from Reese's session!

A few weeks back, my friend Sarah Kram with Sak Photography and I taught a joint newborn workshop in my studio downtown Newburgh, Indiana.
We had two sweet newborn models. The first half of the workshop was bean bean posing, which was taught by Sarah, and the second half was wrapping and prop poses, taught by me! Sweet Hudson was the wrap/prop model and I'm pretty sure I couldn't have chosen a sweeter little guy! He was absolutely perfect!! Scroll through to see some adorable shots of handsome little Hudson! Oh sweet alert little Evalynn! This little one came ready to party!! She really wanted nothing much to do with bean bag posing, and that is quite alright! She preferred to be wrapped and posed in props, so that is what most of the session consisted of. I was still able to get some awake shots, which I always love <3
Cant wait to see this little one again in a few months! I love watching these little one's grow over their first year...or beyond :) Here are a "few" session favorites ;) It is no joke when I say Kylen was the best baby I have photographed to date. Not that there are any "bad" babies ;) I still love the feisty ones just the same, however it makes for a quick session when babies are calm cool and collected. This little dude was super chill and was so squishy and cuddly!! I could have held him all..day..long!
Here are a few session favorites! This little guy was so super sweet for me! His fuzzy hair and long dark eyelashes are seriously to die for. Eyelashes that ladies dream of. Seriously it's not fair. ;)
I feel so very lucky to be able to snuggle these tiny beings for a living. It's so very good for the soul. <3 Here are a few session favorites! Loui was so teeny tiny, but super mighty and awesome! He is such a chill little dude, which made for a great session. His mom and dad are equally amazing. I had a great time getting to know this sweet family of three!
Here are a few session favorites! Siyona was sweet, tiny and extremely adorable! She preferred to be wrapped up tight and that is quite alright. Babies are the boss and I will always work around their needs/wants during a session.
I had the opportunity to meet this beautiful baby girl a couple of weeks ago, along with her mom, dad and grandmother. This coming Sunday, I get to see this sweet face again as I will be taking family photos with her grandmother and grandfather, mom and dad! How neat is that? Photos with family are so so very important. I cannot stress that enough. Many times, we forget to include grandparents! I myself am guilty of this, and will be including them asap. Here are a few favorites from Siyona's session. Sweet little Ella is just as beautiful as her big sister when she was an itty bitty newborn! I feel as though I just took Ella's sister Ava's newborn photos not long ago!
I loved watching Ava interact with her new sister during the sibling photos. She did a pretty good job and I am pretty positive she will be a great big sister to sweet Ella. <3 Here are a few session favorites! One of my favorite things about my job besides getting to snuggle babies frequently? ;)
Meeting new people! I absolutely love meeting and getting to know families during a session. I am also very humbled that each and every client that books a session with me trusts me with their little ones! When I first started this business a 2.5 years ago, I honestly had no idea at this point in my business journey, that I would be where I am today. I now have a storefront photography studio located in downtown Newburgh, IN, where clients have room to hang out and relax during their session! If it wasn't for each and every one of my clients, none of this would be possibly, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you. <3 I met Emilia and her mom and dad a couple weeks ago for the first time. They are such a genuinely sweet couple and newly family of 3. One of the best parts of the session, next to meeting the three of them, was when I was able to use the crocheted blanket that Emilia's great grandmother made. I am 100% for sure she is smiling down on this sweet little one in complete awe of how beautiful she is! Here are a few session favorites!! This sweet guy is one lucky baby boy! He has 3 very proud big sisters to look after him!
Let's talk about newborns for a minute and how much they change within the first few months of life! These quick changes are why it's so very important to hire a professional newborn photographer that can capture sweet photos of your tiny, curly newborn within the first 14 days of life! The first pose below of this little guy is much like how he was curled up in the womb. That's why it's dubbed the "womb" pose. I look back and regret not having photos like this of my boys. I hope you enjoy these session favorites of mine! |
